Here are some of the highlights of my football coaching career :
- Spending 7 straight years with my sons in the Enloe football program. One son, Ryan, as a student-coach/coach and my other son, Cameron, as a player. http://www.newsobserver.com/2012/08/23/2288540/ron-clark.html
- Seventeen players in my nine years as head coach at Enloe went on to play college football. (Division One-Division Three)
- Three NC state playoff appearances as the head coach of Enloe High School.
- 2008 Enloe High School football team starts off 4-0 for first time in over two decades.
- Players returning to visit, and keeping in touch post-graduation.
- Five former players (three college players) returned to coach on our staff at Enloe.- Being a part of Enloe expanding it's weight-lifting program, including the building of the new weight room. (photos below)
- Former player, TJ Lee, blocks punt against Virginia Tech to help ECU beat Virginia Tech in Charlotte, NC. (2008, video below)
- Former player, DJ Brandon named captain of James Madison University football team his senior year. (2008)
- Former player, Peter Lusk (Air Force Academy), once reported as smallest offensive lineman in Division 1 college football, was named to the 2009 Mountain West All Conference Team. Peter was also named Offensive Player of the Year for the Falcons.
- Greg Williams rushes for North Carolina state rushing record in one game in 2005 (484 yards). Team rushed for 647 yards in the game, and at the time was 7th most in North Carolina state history.
