My Life Blessings

I've been married 30 years to my wonderful wife Susan Clark, a teacher in Wake County Public Schools. I have 3 children. Ryan, Courtney, and Cameron. Who are all going to be successful in life, and I'm proud to be their father. I was blessed to have a great father and mother Charles & Maddie Clark, and two great older sisters, Brenda Berry, and Charlene Clark. Family is important to me and having a family atmosphere in football programs I have a hand in, is very important to me. I've been blessed to have coached some great young men in my 23 years of coaching high school football in Wake County. I also have been surrounded by some outstanding coaches throughout my career.

My Aspirations For Teams I Coach

From day one when a player becomes a part of our program , I want to be a teacher/leader of those young men throughout their 4 year high school career. And at the end, I hope they have improved in all aspects of their life; socially, academically, and physically.

I recognize the importance of a disciplined team. My hopes are that my players not only become role models in the classrooms, and hallways, but also in the surrounding communities post-graduation.

I hope my players feel a trust, and a bond with me by the end of their high school careers, that I will do anything I can to help them. I fully believe my job is to make an impact on their lives as a role model first, and a football coach second.

As any competitor does, I want to win. Whether that means winning on Thursday and Friday nights, or winning when it comes to getting my players graduated, I work hard to achieve these wins every week, every season, and every school year.
